In our kindergarden we have this staff: 71 educators, principal, 6 expert associates, 3 accountants, secretary, 9 cooks, 18 maintenance staff, a tailor, washing woman, economist and 4 major-domos.
Educators
We have 71 educators work for us, from which are 6 nurses continuously taking care of the children from age of 1 until going to school. Educators purpose is to conduct educational work according with plans and programs of work, taking care of the kids' primary and secondary needs, and to accomplish a level of cooperation with the parents, so their work would have some satisfing results. Our educators and nurses, inspite of objective obstacles, are doing their best to create proper terms for the children to feel good, have a cheerful childhood and to encourage their growth

The principal of the kindergarden is Jasna Hrvoj, defectologist, a long-year employee in preschool education. Pincipals job in the kindergarden is taking care of having all material, organisational and financial terms of condicting educational service, and coordinating all the services inthe kindergarden in function of operationing duties. She is also engaged in coordinating work of expert associates, where she during the weekly meetings follows, encourages and initiates promotion of educational work. The principal is from time to time engaged in different expert and other groups, where as a prominent member is a part of promoting the preschool education as a service. She is frequently an initiator and cooperant in series of publishing projects as in the kindergarden and in the City level. We are proud to mention editing the book "Guidence to kindergardens of Zagreb" in 1997.
Jasna Hrvoj, the principal of "Jarun" kindergarden is the first principal in preschool education promoted to council in Croatia. May 24th, 2001, she was awared with "Red Danice Hrvatske s likom Antuna Radića" medal for contributing in educational system.

The pedagogue of the kindergarden is Branka Fočić, graduated in pedagogics. With the educators, she plans the work and participates in realisation of the program. She aranges various activities and projects and is ensuring all the necessary terms for the realisation of program work. She contributes to enrichment of the program of working with the children by organising visitations, field trips, shows, which represents a grat joy to children and thier parents. In cooperation with educators she arranges parental meetings regarding some of the actual theme from childs life in the kindergarden. With her, you can talk about ways for you to join in the work in the kindergarden.

Marijana Strugar, defectologist is a devoted educator who, in direct contact with children accomplishes exellent results in eliminating speaking faults and dissorders. There is daily schedule for working with the children and there is also an individual plan for every child. In that way both the parents and educators are familiar with problems in growth and ways for eliminating them and possibilities of parental participation.

Our health care worker is Ankica Flis, senior nurse. Her job is to organise, surveillance and conducting series of measures of health protection, hygiene and proper nutrition for all the children in the kindergarden.
Although her work place is in Domagoj house, once o week (or more if necessary), she visits all the houses of the kindergarden. You can talk to her if you have any question regarding childrens' health, so that we can provide the best chance to preserve and improve health by cooperative relationship. Beside that, she gives special attention to children with special needs or difficulties in developement who are integrated in groups. If a child gets injured, she can provide first aid, escorts the child to hospital, communicates with parents and deals with the situation according to doctor's reccomendations

The work of the defectologist is focused on:
CHILD:
- early detection of special needs/difficulties in growth
- prevention
- individual and individualized educational-rehabilitation approach and direct work in the group in which the child is integrated, which has some of the difficulties in growth (damaged sight or hearing, mental dissorder, motorical damages, damages of central nerv system, behaviour dissorders...), encouragingof positive social relations and attitudes
PARENTS
- supporting and helping in accepting and understanding of childs specific needs
- equable educational influence on the child, parent home, kindergarden
- if needed, referral to diagnaostical analysis and treatment in special institute
- individual conversations about childs growth and abilities
- parental meeting/integration, difficulties in development, adaptation, acceptance...
EDUCATORS
- expert help and support in planning and direct work
- expanding of expert knowledge in difficulties in development, studying, communication and methods and ways of working through workshops and individually
- promoting of integration/inclusion
SOCIETY
- sensibilitation of wide social community for the children with difficulties in growth/special needs
SECRETARY

The secretary takes all the care about receiving files for registration of children, hirinig, declaring general acts and preparing material for meetings of the Board. She also parlours parents and answers the telephone.
Accounting

In the accounting are hired: MARINA FILIPCIC, ANDELA GACPARIC and RAMONA ANDRIJANIC as head of the accounting. They are in charge for all the financial and material dealings of the kindergarden. Special care is taken with communicating with the parents. All the bussines of the expert team, secretary and accounting is completely computerized.
Kitchen
There are 9 cooks hired in kitchens of the kindergarden. The food is prepared in 2 central kitchens and then it's distributed to all of our hous. In branch hous there are 3 more cooks so children get their meals fresh and right in time. Major effort is needed in preparing over a 1000 meals everyday, so that eveything comes out good and in time.

October 31st, 2001 - Kindergarden "Jarun" was awarded at the competition of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank in occasion of World Savings Day
